Consumers for Quality Care Welcomes Tigerlily Foundation as Newest Partner
WASHINGTON — Today, Consumers for Quality Care (CQC) welcomed Tigerlily Foundation (Tigerlily) to its growing coalition of partners. As a CQC partner, Tigerlily will continue its important work providing education, awareness, advocacy and hands-on support to young women before, during, and after cancer. Tigerlily will also join forces with CQC’s diverse coalition of organizations to advocate for quality, equitable health care for Americans.
Tigerlily is a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting young women affected by breast cancer. Their mission involves providing practical resources and advocating for systemic changes to improve support services. Working at both local and national levels, they strive to ensure that young women facing breast cancer have access to the necessary support, empowerment, and resources for their well-being.
“At Tigerlily Foundation, we are committed to not only better patient representation in the health care system, but also to end barriers to accessing and receiving quality, equitable care for all, leading innovation through patient-leadership, and achieving health equity and eliminating disparities in breast cancer. We look forward to joining CQC’s coalition and working with like-minded partners towards this goal,” Lizzie Wittig, Director of HEAL Policy Center of Excellence and National Programs said. “We are excited to join CQC and its efforts to ensure all Americans have access to equitable and quality health care.”
“Consumers for Quality Care is thrilled to welcome Tigerlily Foundation, a leading breast cancer patient advocacy organization, to our coalition,” the Honorable Donna Christensen, CQC board member, physician, and former Member of Congress said.” CQC is eager to work alongside Tigerlily Foundation to make sure that breast cancer patients have access to the testing, treatments, and care they need as they navigate the health care system.”
CQC is proud to partner with 36 leading advocacy organizations to empower health care consumers across America and continue to shape the health care debate through research, consumer-focused advocacy, and direct action on critical issues at the state and national levels.
