Infusion Access Foundation Joins Consumers for Quality Care

The patient advocacy nonprofit is devoted to ensuring patients have access to the treatment they need for all complex illnesses

WASHINGTON Consumers for Quality Care (CQC), a coalition of advocates and former policymakers working to provide a voice for patients in the healthcare debate, is pleased to welcome the Infusion Access Foundation as a new coalition partner. In partnering with CQC, the Infusion Access Foundation joins a robust group of organizations that advocate for higher quality, affordable health care for people across the nation.

As a nonprofit advocacy group, the Infusion Access Foundation works tirelessly to ensure patients have access to provider-administered therapies for any and all complex illnesses. With a focus on patient-empowerment, Infusion Access Foundation creates resources, educational materials, and campaigns that increase access to clinical treatments like infusions and injections.

At the Infusion Access Foundation, we strive for a world where provider-administered therapies are accessible and convenient for everyone who needs them. Our efforts towards this goal can be separated into three buckets: (1) expanding access to infusion care, (2) supporting patients throughout their infusion journeys, and (3) advocating for policies that benefit infusion patients, ,” said Kindyl Boyer, Advocacy Director for the Infusion Access Foundation. “We are proud to join CQC’s coalition of advocates working to give patients a voice in the healthcare debate.”

“We are thrilled to have the Infusion Access Foundation join Consumers for Quality Care’s growing coalition of advocates as our newest partner organization,” said Donna Christensen, CQC board member, physician, and former Member of Congress. “Ensuring patients’ voices are prioritized in the debate around medical care and treatment of clinical illness has long been CQC’s mission and we look forward to working with the Infusion Access Foundation to reach this shared goal.”

CQC is proud to partner with 32 leading advocacy organizations to continue to shape the healthcare debate through research, consumer-focused advocacy, and direct action on critical issues at the state and national levels.
