Aundria From Texas Describes Her Frustration With Insurance’s Slow Approval Process

After her father was diagnosed with cancer, Aundria from Texas had him move in with her, her husband and their young daughters. She has been taking care of him, juggling multiple doctor appointments, treatments and calls with insurers. Her biggest frustrations are the lack of clear communication between the insurer and physicians and the time it takes for the insurer to approve treatments recommended by her father’s doctors.
