ZERO Prostate Cancer Joins Consumers for Quality Care

As a CQC partner, ZERO Prostate Cancer will continue their work providing education, awareness, advocacy, and hands-on support for those impacted by prostate cancer

WASHINGTON — Today, Consumers for Quality Care (CQC), a coalition dedicated to providing a voice for patients in the ongoing health care debate, welcomes ZERO Prostate Cancer (ZERO) as a new partner. ZERO, the leading national nonprofit with the goal of ending prostate cancer and helping those affected, joins a robust network of 37 partners committed to advocating for affordable and quality health care nationwide.

ZERO Prostate Cancer is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about prostate cancer, providing education and support to patients and families affected by the disease, and advocating for policies that improve prostate cancer care and research. The organization works to increase public knowledge about prostate cancer, promote early detection, and provide resources to those living with the disease, and their loved ones. ZERO Prostate Cancer takes action to end prostate cancer, supporting research efforts aimed at finding new treatments and ultimately a cure.

“ZERO Prostate Cancer is honored to be part of Consumers for Quality Care’s growing coalition of health care advocates,” said Courtney Bugler, President and CEO of ZERO Prostate Cancer. “Joining forces with CQC amplifies our shared commitment to elevate patient voices, expand access to quality care, and help improve outcomes for all prostate cancer patients.”

“We are thrilled to welcome ZERO Prostate Cancer to our expanding coalition of patient advocacy organizations,” said CQC Board Member Jason Resendez. “Ensuring patients have access to quality health care is fundamental to CQC’s mission, and we are grateful to work alongside ZERO Prostate Cancer as they ensure that prostate cancer patients and their families have access to the testing, treatments, and care they need as they navigate this disease.”

CQC is pleased to welcome ZERO and expand the growing coalition to 36 partner advocacy organizations. Together, the coalition is working to prioritize patients in health care discussions through research, consumer-oriented advocacy, and direct engagement with critical health care issues on both state and national fronts.
