According to NJ.com, Prime Healthcare, which operates several hospitals in New Jersey, will no longer accept insurance from one of the largest carriers in the state, leaving patients to choose other hospitals or go without health coverage.

The biggest losers in disputes between health systems and health insurance companies are the consumers, who are left with fewer options for care. This is an unacceptable situation that will leave patients without access to their doctors or stuck with large medical bills.
